Iron Maiden to offer DRM free tracks

Iron Maiden will have their music available in a DRM (Digital Rights Management)-free format shortly. This is according to NMA.co.uk. The format will be available through retailers like Burger King.

Burger King will distribute a series of codes offering its customers the opportunity to download a pre-paid, DRM-free EMI track from a campaign website.

EMI Music reached a deal with VerveLife, a digital agency whose client list includes Burger King, that will offer the opportunity to use DRM-free music for promotional purposes.

So free with every kid's meal, Spongebob Squarepants that looks like Iron Maiden and an Iron Maiden track.
