Great job republican readers of Blogsnroses.com, you have pissed off Henry Rollins and you forced him to tour. What you didn't force him to do is shorten the name of his tour.

Provoked: An Evening of Quintessentially American Opinionated Editorializing and Storytelling by Henry Rollins will be hitting 50 shows in a two month time frame.

Mr. Rollins is a funny guy. I recall a story as told to me through a gay friend of mine.

Mr Rollins used to live in an apartment building in L.A. His next door neighbor was gay and he used to bring all kinds of men home each night. They used to screw so loud, he could hear their moans and screams over the crappy electronica dance music they were listening to. Rollins decided that he would egg them on so he used to put on old Black Flag records and smash on the wall encouraging them to "fuck harder and faster." As he was doing this he was able to prolifically write some of his best works (or so he says). He loved that gay guy.

The scene is so famous that it prompted the media to ask him about his sexuality. He responded: "Believe me, if I was gay, I wouldn't be hiding it."
