I wanted to hate when these kids when they bust onto the scene with "MMMBop." The song was so catchy and they were so Aryan, you couldn't help but love them. Their long, womanly, locks, their deep sea, blue eyes, their coded messages to exterminate the Jews. Ok, the last part wasn't true, but MMMBop has to stand for something promoting the Third Reich.

Now Hanson will write a song about you. This isn't a euphemistic song about you - a you that encompasses everyone in the world. This you is specific to YOU. The contest is part of some pre-sale that I can't pretend to fathom. But if you drive the most traffic to the band's website, you will be rewarded with a song that the Hanson brothers will write about you.

I think it is a pretty cool idea and I give Hanson props for not fading away in an industry that tosses teeny boppers aside like $4.00 crack whore.

However, I think they should write the song about me. They would have a great song about truck stops, my terrible gag reflex (unrelated to the previous point), and my unhealthy obsession of Hershey Hugs (related to only one of the two previous points). If I were to meet the band I would make sure we played the following game. Fun for all ages!
