• Tommy briefly attends but does not enroll in the University of Nebraska
• A reality show titled "Tommy Lee Goes to College" airs based on his exploits. Due to it's obviously staged manner, it does not do very well in the ratings
• Tommy stars in another reality show, Rockstar:Supernova
• Since nobody did their due diligence, the band name "Supernova" is already take, so they must use the name "Rockstar Supernova"
• It turns out that it doesn't matter, as nobody has any interest in the band anyway
• The show proves once again that Tommy is a mouthbreathing imbecile
• Tommy's autobiography, which he clearly couldn't have written himself on account of some of the words having more that three "Sil-i-bulls", does not sell nearly as well as the fantastic Motley Crue book, "The Dirt"
• His new solo album lands a number 1 single....in South Africa. In the states it peaked at number 95 on the charts
• He has spent the last few months on a solo tour....as a disc jockey.

Finally somebody is going to pay for these horrible career decisions.  According to the Associated Press:

"Motley Crue is suing one of its managers for more than $20 million, claiming he pushed drummer Tommy Lee into doing two disastrous reality shows that took him away from the band and forced the cancellation of dozens of concerts.  The suit filed Monday in Superior Court claimed fraud and breach of fiduciary duties against Carl Stubner and a company called Sanctuary Group."

There are two ways to look at this.  You can either say that it is Stubner's fault as Tommy Lee's talent manager, or you can say that Tommy should have known better.  I contend that it is impossible that Tommy could know better, as he is clearly incapable of thinking for himself.  Honestly, when is the last time you've heard this guy utter a sentence that didn't contain the words more complex than  "Dude" or "Bra" or the ever so popular "(there is no word in the English language for the combo laugh-gape)".

I think that this is beyond monetary damage.  Motley Crue is in danger of becoming extinct, and it has nothing to do with the fact that Mick Mars is almost completely immobile.  Shame on you Carl Stubner for taking advantage of poor Tommy.  Shame on you.
