Every year Farm Aid takes place to raise money for local farmers. It has existed since 1985. It supports family farms, changing the system of industrial agriculture, advocates fair prices and encourages people to buy locally grown food that is organic and humanely produced. It is a good cause.

This year's show will take place at Randalls Island on September 9. The lineup will include Willie Nelson, John Mellencamp, Neil Young, and Dave Matthews Band.
