Slash and Scott Weiland have both confirmed to MTV.com that VR will be joining Alice In Chains for a few dates in the U.S. and Canada. The trek will start late summer and move into the fall.

"We'll be closing out the shows, as far as we know," Slash said. Sparta will be opening up the second leg, however, no opening act has been set for the first half.

No dates have been announced, but as soon as they are, we will let you know...when we feel like it.
