Chris Daughtry was the resident "rocker" on American Idol Season Five. He was kicked off which allowed Taylor Hicks to win. Now Chris, who just goes by Daughtry, has a band and is currently 'tearing' up the Billboard Charts. He is not the sort of artist that is covered here at Blogsnroses. So why are we covering him?

It is rare that an artist actually acknowledges Delaware exists and it is even a rarer when it shows up in their music video. After a gig in Philadelphia, Daughtry and his band were driving south on I-95 when this was taken:


If you watch his new video called "Home" you will find this small gem at the 1:22-1:24 mark. This sign exists right outside of Chester, PA. What remains to be seen is did the band actually think this was Wilmington, North Carolina? The rest of the video is shot at a festival in Greensboro, North Carolina so it is conceivable that they did. We will take it to mean that Chris actually knows it is Wilmington, DE. So, kudos to you Chris Daughtry for including the "Home" of Blogsnroses in your music video.
