Ozzy teams with Britney Spears/Celine Dion Producer...somewhere far away a baby panda dies

ozzyosbourne.jpgKevin Churko, the man behind records by pop stars Britney Spears and Celine Dion, is going to co-produce "Black Rain" with Ozzy Osbourne.  This will be the first album of all brand new material by the Ozzy machine in almost six years.  I spoke to my future self and he told me that Ozzy should have waited another six years.  Here is an excerpt from Sleazeroxx.com:

"Ozzy's new effort was recorded in Los Angeles with touring guitarist Zakk Wylde, bassist Blasko and drummer Mike Bordin. Among the tracks slated for the new release include fan-dedicated numbers "Here For You" and "Lay Your World On Me," as well as "I Don't Wanna Stop," "Not Going Away," "Thank God For The Almighty Dollar."

"I just thought there's so much f****** bad news, the only way I can release it is to put it in a song," he said of some of the new material."

Ozzy couldn't be more right.  The only time anyone can understand him is when he is singing.  The real bad news, oh Prince of Darkness, is your choice in production mates.  Let's hope that Zakk Wylde's Viking Biker Mafia Rock Warrior infused guitar riffs make a difference on this album.  The last thing that we want to hear is Ozzy singing "Oops I Did It Again".  Please make note of the sweet hockey jersey from one of Ozzy's many 1980's mugshots.  Those were the days, although how would I know?  The entire Blogs N' Roses was still shitting in our pants back then.  One of us still is.  I won't name names, but it's somebody who hasn't posted in quite a long time.
