On Monday jury selection began for the murder trial of Harvey Phillip Spector, self-proclaimed inventor of over-production.  F'd Up Phil is accused of murdering Lana Clarkson. Well known for his wacky antics and the production of such hits as the song that makes us Dance Dirty, "Be My Baby",  as well as the Maverick and Goose duet, "You've Lost that Lovin' Feelin'. The victim, Lana best known for her work as a House of Blues hostess, also known for starring in Barbarian Queen and the Academy Award winning Barbarian Queen II was found dead in the foyer of Spector's Snake Pit with her face shot off. Spector claims the death was an accidental suicide, but he also claims to be bi-polar and quite insane.

Destined to be the B-List of celebrity trials, this travesty is set to be aired on national television, as opposed to more Seinfeld Re-runs. 

There is sure to be an in depth investigation as to where Phil got his hair did up for his indictment hearing on November 20, 2003 as opposed to why the trial is taking place four years after Lana bit the bullet....literally.
