There is a new supergroup in the metal world, HellYeah. The group is made up of Vinnie Paul (Damageplan/Rebel Meets Rebel/Pantera), Chad Gray (Mudvayne), Greg Tribbett (Mudvayne), Tom Maxwell (Nothingface), and Jerry Montano (Danzig, Nothingface). I will reserve judgement on this band until Phil Anselmo tells me what he thinks about it.

You can judge them by listening to the three songs they posted on their Myspace. They are the front runners to be on the main stage at Ozzfest this year. Vinnie is a big friend of Zakk Wylde and Ozzy + Mudvanye is loved by the Ozzfest crowds (I don't get the appeal). This is almost a total slam dunk.
