Black Sabbath released Black Sabbath today. A line up consisting of Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward wrote sinister anthems which sounded as if spit from the hellbeast himself. They morphed rock n roll into a darker, heavier sound and gave birth to "Heavy Metal."
