On this day fourty-five years ago a notoriously infamous or infamously notorious rock icon was born, that's right ladies and gentlemen, you guessed it, Axl Rose, the happy-go-lucky frontman of Guns N' Roses.  This guy has stood up more tour dates than the Union Dead. 

Currently on a tour riddled with cancellations (sorry Bakersfield, Sacramento, Reno, and San Diego, maybe next time), this band may not be coming to a venue near you, instead their gold may be coming to a store near you, The Chinese Democracy, the follow up to 1993 release of The Spaghetti Incident?. An album over a decade in the making, Chinese Democracy may "drop" this spring or more specifically March 6th as revealed at the official Guns website....keep holding your breath. Then again were'nt we promised an Atlantic City brawl between Axl and Crue member Vince Neil.
