According to the Associated Press, Van Halen has made the long anticipated decision to tour this summer, reuniting with original lead singer, Diamond David Lee Roth.  Also joining the band will be future rehab clinic regular Wolfgan Van Halen.  Wolfgang is the love child of guitarist Eddie Van Halen and former wife Valerie Bertinelli.  Eddie Van Halen had this to say about the reunion:

"I am very excited to get back to the core of what made Van Halen,"

When Eddie refers to the "core of what made Van Halen", he is of course referring to the bickering, gang banging, drunken, drug mongering, V.D. infested, old fashioned rock and roll of the 70's and 80's.  Perhaps they should replace the perpetually underachieving Alex Van Halen with the corpse of Keith Moon.  That way they might have a decent drummer for once.  One way or another it doesn't matter.  This tour is gonna last about as long as it takes Mama Cass to choke on a ham sandwich.
